ECON 2313 - Economics of Money and Banking Credit Hours 3 , Lecture 3
Builds on Principles of Macroeconomics to address issues of financial instruments, financial markets, financial institutions, the Federal Reserve System, monetary theory, and policy. Students develop a deeper understanding of the economics of money and banking, including the implications of monetary theory and policy for the financial system and its broader impact on the economy.
Prerequisites: ECON 2213 or ECON 2113 with a grade of “C” or better
