ECVT 1202 - Cerebrovascular Ultrasound
Credit Hours 2 , Lecture 1 , Lab 3
Emphasizes normal cerebrovascular anatomy and hemodynamics, pathophysiology of cerebrovascular disease, and methods of cerebrovascular testing, including scanning of the extracranial carotid and vertebral and subclavian arteries. This course is offered only in the eight-week summer session.
Prerequisites: Permission of the Program Manager for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography AAS Echocardiography and Vascular Technology concentration
