ECVT 1221 - Echocardiography Practicum I
Credit Hours 1 , Lecture 0 , Lab 8
Initiates working with preceptors at clinical associate sites (first of three semesters of Echocardiography Practicum). Students will perform echocardiography, electrophysiology, and participate in ultrasound guided procedures under the supervision of registered preceptors. Students must pass required competencies, evaluated by their clinical preceptors. This course is offered only in the eight-week summer session.
Prerequisites: Permission of the Program Manager for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography AAS Echocardiography and Vascular Technology concentration
