ECVT 2102 - Abdom & Renal Vasc Ultrasound
Credit Hours 2 , Lecture 1 , Lab 3
Emphasizes normal anatomy and sonographic imaging and Doppler assessment of the abdominal aorta and its major branches, the vena cava, the renal arteries and veins, and the iliac arteries and veins. Emphasis is placed on pathophysiology and testing for aortic and iliac vascular disease, pathologies of the vena cava, and renovascular disease.
Prerequisites: Permission of the Program Manager for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography AAS Echocardiography and Vascular Technology concentration
