MVSB 1003 - Motor Vehicle Service Basics
Credit Hours 3 , Lecture 1 , Lab 6
Provides students with an overview of career professionalism and the opportunity to practice tasks that are necessary for beginning automotive and medium/heavy truck service technicians. Introduces the use of hand tools and shop equipment, and outlines steps for engine oil changes, tire rotations and balancing, new vehicle prep, and used vehicle inspections. This course requires a lab fee.
Prerequisites: Official Driving Record
