SONO 2183 - Ultrasound OB/GYN II

Continues the Obstetrics and Gynecology series of courses and introduces students to obstetrical ultrasound scan technique and protocol. This course considers normal and abnormal anatomy throughout the first, second, and third trimesters of pregnancy. Anatomy of obstetrical structures and their appearance on the ultrasound will be discussed.
Prerequisites: Permission of the Program Manager for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography AAS, Abdomen-OB/GYN concentration
