VTEC 1412 - Anesthesia for Veterinary Technicians
Credit Hours 2 , Lecture 0 , Lab 2
Focuses on the fundamentals of anesthesia safety and efficacy. Covers anesthesia monitoring, postanesthesia care, pain management, and emergency procedures. Emphasis is on small animal anesthesia but large animal and exotics will also be covered.
Prerequisites: VTEC 1023 , VTEC 1031 , VTEC 1041 , VTEC 1054 , VTEC 1051 , BIOL 2103 and BIOL 2101 , all with a grade of “C” or better
