Aviation Maintenance Technician, Airframe (CTS)

This Certificate signifies that the student has completed the coursework in General Curriculum Subjects and in Airframe Curriculum Subjects and confirms eligibility to take the General and Airframe written exams, as well as the oral and practical exam of the FAA Airframe Mechanic exam.
To receive this certificate, students must
- Have a cumulative GPA of 2.00 or higher in the courses required for the CTS.
- Complete the following Program of Study.
Program Outcomes. Upon successful completion of the program, the graduate will be able to:
- Demonstrate how to identify, troubleshoot, and repair airframe deficiencies.
- Demonstrate basic electrical and avionics competencies.
- Demonstrate familiarity with required regulatory and documentation procedures used in aviation maintenance.
