The Career and Technical Certificate (CTC) in Film and New Media Production covers all phases of the production cycle, including pre-production, production, and post-production. Courses in the CTC cover editing and visual effects/motion graphics using Adobe Premiere and Adobe AfterEffects. Upon completion of the CTC in Film and New Media Production, students will be eligible to test for the Adobe Certified Associate - Video Communication using Adobe Premiere Pro or Adobe Certified Associate - Visual Effects and Motion Graphics using AfterEffects.
To receive this certificate, the student must:
Program Outcomes. Upon successful completion of the program, the graduate will be able to:
- Develop digital video projects using structural elements such as tracks, timelines, and layers.
- Create visual elements and effects as part of a digital video project.
- Publish and export projects using media encoders.
